Read with a Bird at Color Wheel Toys

Color Wheel Toys invites you to Read with a Bird! This all ages event is brought to you by Birds of a Feather Parrot Rescue of New Mexico. Story times are at 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm with a suggested donation of $5 per family to help provide supplies and vet care for the birds they take in. There will be a contained domesticated parrot on hand for visiting with close-up and personal and the volunteers from the organization will answer all your bird questions!
Enjoy a free make and take bird craft in our workshop space if you want to keep the fun going. Want to help the birds? Bring a donation of tp/paper towel tubes, popsicle sticks, or foam pool noodles – the bird rescue uses those items a lot!
