Come enjoy the peace and fun of reading aloud to licensed therapy dogs in a relaxing environment. Children can feel comfortable reading to trained dogs and their helpful owners who encourage early childhood literacy.
Children of all reading levels are welcome at East Mountain Library every Wednesday from 12–1:00 p.m. and again on the second Saturday of the month from 1–2:00 p.m. Learn how to read a-loud to these trained therapy dogs and enjoy the listening ear of a canine in a comfortable environment. No registration required.
