January 3, 2025 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Imagination and wonder soar at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.
Admission for kids 5 and under is always free, but on the first Friday of every month and every Sunday morning (except during Balloon Fiesta, of course), the Balloon Museum is FREE for kids and adults!
Know before you go—check out the current exhibits and museum details at the City of Albuquerque website.
Regular Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday – Sunday
Closed: Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and City holidays that fall on Mondays.
The Balloon Museum is home to all sorts of historic balloons, and has interactive exhibits about the science of flight and what makes Albuquerque such a special place to fly a hot air balloon. Hint: it’s all about The BOX.
The Balloon Museum also hosts Stories and Music in the Sky, a FANTASTIC stories, music, movement, and art program. Learn more about that here.
